  报告人简介:

  Prof. Dr. Thomas Thurn-Albrecht Studied Physics at the Albert-Ludwigs-University Freiburg, Germany and Edinburgh University/UK for his Diplom from 1982 to1990. In1994, he obtained his Doctor degree from Physics department, the Albert-Ludwigs-University Freiburg, Germany under the supervision of Prof.G.Strobl. He then carried out PostDoc research works at the Max-Planck-Institute for Polymer Research in Mainz with Prof. E. W. Fischer (1995-1998) and at the Polymer Science and Engineering Department, University of Massachusetts at Amherst with Prof.T.P. Russell (1998-1999). In 2000, he finished his Habilitation in Physics at the Albert-Ludwigs-University Freiburg, Germany. From 2000 to 2003, he was scientist and lecturer at the Faculty of Physics, Albert-Ludwigs-University Freiburg, Germany.

  Since 2004, he has been a Professor for Experimental Physics (Polymer Physics) at the Martin-Luther-University Halle-Wittenberg, Germany. He served as vice dean of the faculty of chemistry and physics (Studiendekan) at the university from 2006 to 2010. From 2009 to 2011, he was elected as Chairman of the division CPP (Chemical Physics and Polymer Physics) of the German Physical Society (DPG). Since 2011, he has been the Representative of the SFB/Transregio 102 of DFG. Prof. Thomas Thurn-Albrecht’s research interests include Structure formation in polymers, polymer electrolytes, Polymer crystallization, semiconducting polymers, organic photovoltaics,scattering techniques, scanning force microscopy.
